American Crystal’s Kaden Sanford Featured in 2026 FACES of Grand Forks for Innovation in Sugar Technology

American Crystal Sugar Company is proud to have Kaden Sanford, Electrician-2nd at our East Grand Forks factory, featured in the 2026 issue of FACES of Grand Forks. The article highlights our company’s career growth opportunities and investment in specialized training, tuition reimbursement, and hands-on learning.

From FACES of Grand Forks 2026 article:

What can you learn in a day? For Kaden Sanford, the answer is always something new. Kaden grew up around the electrical trade, tagging along while his dad, a master electrician, wired houses. But he wanted to broaden his experience.

At American Crystal Sugar Company’s East Grand Forks factory, he’s doing just that. In just 10 months, he’s gained hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, taking on complex troubleshooting and new challenges along the way.

American Crystal has also invested in his growth through specialized training and full tuition reimbursement for the tech school he attended. “I like to think about that sometimes when I go home: What did I learn today?” Kaden said.

“Every day brings a new challenge and a new skill to sharpen. And that’s exactly what keeps the work interesting.”
