What weed legacy will you leave?

For almost every year from 1970-2008 weeds were identified as the most serious production problem in sugarbeet. Roundup Ready® sugarbeets dramatically changed that situation with the best weed control ever achieved. The most convenient and effective weed control program is aggressively being threatened by resistant weed development. Will you ignore resistant weed development in all crops in your rotation and leave a legacy of unwarranted weed control challenges for the future? On the other hand will you adopt PROACTIVE resistant weed control strategies and a legacy of future successful use of Roundup Ready® technology for sugarbeets?
