Beet slicing operations are projected to continue until early June 2007. Wastewater treatment will continue for approximately 4 weeks after slice or until all high strength wastewater is treated. Monitoring of the wastewater lagoons is currently being done for sulfides. Plans have been made for chemical treatment to reduce the odors before they peak in late spring.

Wastewater discharge from the wetland treatment system is projected to begin by mid-May 2007 and continue throughout the summer and fall.
