Sugarbeet Root Maggot Counts

NDSU continues to monitor Sugarbeet Root Maggot fly counts across much of the Red River Valley. With the Wednesday total count for the Valley at 9 adult flies, we have decided to stop reporting counts until next summer. Should there be an unexpected increase in fly activity in early July, the Ag staff will notify those growers in areas where the movement occurs and assist growers with decisions on best control options.
